Chapter One:
Car-Crashed Heart
A raven-haired girl with a beautiful porcelain skin woke up one morning with only one brown-haired boy on her mind that over time she has accepted her feelings for but hasnt been given the chance to tell him about her feelings because of the day that William made a final move on Yumi.
Flashback:
I cant believe it, Jeremie, are you serious that Ulrich feels the same way Yumi said
Shaking the Einstein so hard his glasses went to the floor because of Yumis happiness at what he said and her doubts at what he was saying.
Yes Yumi he doesCan you please stop shaking me Jeremy said
When Yumi stopped shaking him Jeremie picked up his glasses and said he loves you so much that he probably wanted to kill William every time he was around him then he re-thought what he just said and said let me re-phrase that, he did want to kill William because thats just the way Ulrich is.
Yumi didnt hear a word Jeremie just said except him reassuring her that Ulrich loved her so without a moments rest she took out her phone and called Ulrich.
Hello Ulrich said.
Hi Ulrich could you meet me at the park I need to tell you something thats really important she said as calm as she could.
Okay Yumi Ill meet you at the park in an hour so see you there he said in calm manner.
Ulrich has done a lot in six months including: getting his grades together to a point of straight As, won every soccer game that came, beat up William Dunbar, became the most popular boy on campus (though he didnt care), beat up William Dunbar, given a scholarship to college, beat up William Dunbar (Ulrich threw him through a window in the middle of class and got detention for 2 months for putting him in the hospital but he was proud of himself).
I wonder what she has to tell me thats so important
Fifty-five minutes later
Yumi took a deep breath and said Okay he should be here in five minutes Yumi was so nervous about this moment that the seconds felt like days. Then time sped up again when she saw someone who could turn her dream come true into a living nightmareWilliam Dunbar.
Hello Yumi it looks like youre waiting for someone, William said
Yes I am Yumi said with a fake smile that could easily seen through by someone who really knew her. Then William went to his cheesy playboy tactics.
So why dont you ditch who ever youre waiting for and go with me to a movie he said with what he thought was a pick-up smile.
No I broke up with you two months ago when I caught you kissing Sissi Yumi said, but William must have been deaf because he crashed his lips against Yumis.
Although she tried to push him off it was no use. But the moment gets worse because guess whathours up. Ulrich stood there feeling his heart crumble under the pressure until you couldnt see pain in his eyes because hes been through enough pain. He didnt cry because he used up all his tears. All he could do was walk away so he told the principal that he had to go (he struck a deal with the principal that he could stay at the school as long as he became a teachers assistant [he graduated early due to his grades and asked to stay in the dorms until he found something else]) then took his black motorcycle, gathered all the money he had earned, wrote a letter to his friends and Yumi, and took off not shedding a tear, not looking back because his now cold heart held nothing more than pain.
Back To Yumi
Yumi managed to beat William up, and then shout at him for what he did and told him to leave, and before anyone else realized a girl beat him in a fight he left. And she waited another hour before receiving a phone call from Odd.
Hello Yumi said a little annoyed at how late Ulrich was.
Yumi you have to get over here right now! Odd said hastily then hung up and as Yumi ran as fast as she could she somehow knew in the back of her head something was wrong and it had everything to do with Ulrich.
When Yumi got to the dorms she saw a sad Odd, Jeremie, and Aelita in Ulrichs room crying.
Yumireadthis Aelita said taking out a note so fast it seemed as if the paper was on fire.
Yumi took the letter and read the letter:
From Ulrich:
What am I doing? Why am I here and why did all of this happen. When my grades were bad at least I had friends now that everything is looking up Im starting to feel my friendships slipping. So seeing as Im no longer needed it is time for me to go and I might be gone forever. I wrote this letter to let you all know I did not go without a farewell. So that is all there is to say. Goodbye.

And at that moment she understood why her friends were crying and began to cry herself she not only lost an ally in the fight against Xana, but she also lost the only man she ever truly loved.
Flashback End:
Yumi was now sad as she began to remember what had happened since then she is now in the new college section of the Kadic academy and today was her first day and also remembered it had been a year since she had seen Ulrich and even though she was given offers by many boys to go out, she never took their offers because she always hoped that one day Ulrich would come back but for that a miracle would be needed. But everyday that passed she stopped believing that herself.
