Rogue Legacy 2 Game Review

Rogue Legacy is back! Now it has a 2 in front of it!
Rogue Legacy 2 is described as a genealogical Rogue -LITE. That means it has all the elements of an ordinary roguelike (randomized races, evolving characters as well as many more) and also features persistent upgrades, and persistent dead heirs. It is a game where grinding isn’t necessary. Be careful and you’ll explore the depths of the constantly changing world. Or don’t! What’s the matter! With hardcore platforming mixed with a deep RPG strategy, anyone can succeed eventually.

Rogue Legacy 2:
An adventure that is procedurally created. The whole world is transformed each time a new adventure is played, and no two runs are identical.
Rogue-LITE. Build your manor, improve your standing, and build each of your children stronger than preceding. It’s possible to beat the game at the level 1 level, but there’s no reason it should have to.
Universal Healthcare. Each child is different. A child may have Synethesia or a different one might be pacifist or just a bit fat. Socialism provides you with gold points for characteristics that produce the most debilitating effects compared to normal gameplay.
Castle Permanence. It’s a rogue-like where bosses are dead.
Every class (and there’s plenty!) now have their own unique arsenal of weapons. The options are to either take down your enemies in the distance using the bow of the agile Ranger or with the huge Battleaxe or the Barbarian.
Stack Runes. Stack Runes. It’ll take a while, but if you’d like to experience penta jumping and lifestealas well as hyperspeed it’s now possible!
And there’s a lot more. But we’re working on it, and we’d still like to keep some secret information in our back pockets. :)
